Community Guidelines

At iHelp, we are committed to fostering a professional and respectful community where members help each other succeed. To ensure a positive and constructive environment, we have established the following community guidelines:

Be Safe

  1. Engage in Safe Conversations: Only initiate and participate in conversations that are safe, respectful, and considerate.

Be Trustworthy

  1. Use Your True Identity: Maintain transparency and authenticity by using your real identity on iHelp. Provide accurate information about yourself or your organization.
  2. Share Real and Authentic Information: Avoid sharing false or misleading content that aims to deceive. Do not interfere with elections or civic processes. Do not spread false information about vaccines, or medical treatments, or engage in content that contradicts guidance from leading global health organizations.
  3. No Fake Profiles: Do not create fake profiles or misrepresent yourself. Use your own likeness for your profile photo. Associate with businesses or organizations you are genuinely professionally connected with, and do not share your account with others.
  4. Avoid Scams and Deception: Do not use iHelp for romance scams, pyramid schemes, or any fraudulent activities. Do not share malicious software or engage in phishing attempts.

Be Professional

  1. Promote a Professional Environment: iHelp’s mission is to connect professionals and promote productivity and success. Engage in discussions related to the world of work while maintaining professionalism.
  2. Treat Others with Respect: Interact with others in a civil, appropriate, and respectful manner. Avoid uncivil, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour.
  3. No Hate Speech: Do not engage in hate speech, discrimination, or attacks against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability. Hate groups are not permitted on iHelp, and the use of slurs or divisive content is prohibited.
  4. No Sexual Harassment: iHelp is a professional networking platform, not a dating site. Avoid unwanted expressions of attraction, romantic advances, or lewd remarks. Do not send sexually explicit content or engage in sexual innuendos.
  5. Avoid Shocking Material: Do not share excessively gruesome or shocking content, such as graphic violence or content that promotes criminal activities. Promoting or encouraging suicide, self-injury, or harmful behaviour is strictly prohibited. Avoid sharing explicit material.
  6. No Spamming: Do not send untargeted, irrelevant, unauthorized, or repetitive messages or content. Avoid using the invitation feature for promotional purposes or spamming. Create original, professional, and relevant content to engage with the community authentically.

Reporting Violations

If you come across content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it to us. Your reports help us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all iHelp members. Use our reporting tools responsibly and for their intended purposes. If you see abusive or inappropriate content, report it by clicking on the appropriate reporting options.

Enforcement of Guidelines

These community guidelines apply to all iHelp members. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take actions such as limiting the visibility of content, labelling it or removing it entirely. Repeated or severe offences may result in account restrictions. If you believe that the action taken on your content or account was in error, you can submit an appeal.

Thank you for being a part of the iHelp community. Together, we can create a platform where everyone can learn, grow, and communicate, ultimately leading to economic opportunities for all.
